At JOTIS, our Cornstarch is made from select corn crops growing in Greece. JOTIS Cornstarch will add smooth, velvety richness and sheen to your culinary creations. Before adding it to any recipe you’ll want to create a “slurry” to avoid clumps, which means mixing our cornstarch with an equal amount of water, stock or wine. Cornstarch also has a surprisingly wide range of other applications. Mixed with water into a paste, it relieves sunburn, skin irritation and bug bites, lifts oil stains from carpets and is a natural silver polish and deodorant. Store in a cool, dry place.
