We have been making traditional pasta at PIyale since 1922 using high-quality Turkish Durum and soft wheat semolina. Farfalline are mini-versions of Farfalle, also known as Bow-Tie pasta. Served al dente, these delicious noodles pair beautifully with almost any manner of sauce, including garlic and olive oil, pesto, marinara, alfredo, Puttanesca and Bolognese. PIyale Farfalline (Fiyonk) are a perfect ingredient for chicken and vegetable soups and a wonderful pasta choice for cold salads and stir fries. Because of their charming and inviting shape, kids will love these noodles in homemade mac and cheese with butter, cheddar cheese and fresh peas! For an easy Turkish pasta that generations of children have grown up with mix the cooked pasta with olive oil and salt, with crumbled Turkish white cheese and tomato sauce (optional).
