Kalamata Olives

The olive ambassador of Greece, this unique, almond-shaped fruit hails from the Kalamata region of the Peloponnese. These olives are extraordinary in flavor. Kalamata olives are purplish in color, with a firm and meaty texture, and generally cured in an herbed vinegar and oil marinade.
